YELP - Jason Ellis Moving Labor
We dealt with a dozen individuals in the trades and professions in the course of renovating one home for sale and purchasing another. None of these business people was as accommodating of our needs, better prepared, or as conscientious as Jason Ellis. It was a rare pleasure to find ourselves being served by a thoroughgoing professional. We recommend him to those who have precious possessions to move and who expect value for their money.

Jason and Eddy were the best! I have had multiple movers for several homes over the years and Jason Ellis and Eddy were great. He called to confirm the time of appointment and showed up on time. Very professional and respectful of our home and belongings. I have had other movers that personally sucked, broke my stuff, complained about their job and... charged a lot more. Jason saved me from selling half my stuff because they fit a 5 bedroom house into a 26 ft truck. I still don't know how they did it. That takes skill and was worth every penny.

JASON SAVES THE DAY - AND MY MOVE!
My move was going smoothly when it suddenly slammed to a halt. I had hired someone to pack most of my belongings into a pod container for storage. Scheduled for 2 p.m., I couldn't reach him 'til 4:30, when he told me he'd be over by 6 p.m., the latest. That was the last I was able to reach him or hear from him, well on into the evening. A NO-SHOW! It was after business hours and the pod was scheduled for pick up the next morning, and there it stood, empty.
I got on Craigslist and began hunting for a reliable mover with good references and reasonable rates, and wrote "Help!" messages and left voice mails to two movers. Jason called first thing in the morning and signed up to do the job. I had reached the pod company, and thankfully, they rescheduled the pickup for the following day. Having heard my tale of woe, Jason called often to reassure me and keep me updated on his exact arrival time, showed up when he said he would with a wonderful helper named Eddie, and the two of them did an AMAZING job.
I had feared my things would not fit in the storage pod, but Jason packed it like a 3-D puzzle - just awesome. Both of these fellows worked hard and fast and with the most pleasant, friendly attitudes. The price was better than fair, too. BOTTOM LINE: Mr. No-Show did me a favor - The job that Jason and Eddie did was the best moving experience I've ever had, and I've moved a lot in my over 60 years of life. I can't say enough about how terrific they are. I highly recommend Jason Ellis for any aspect of moving - I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Jason and Eddie, for putting the Groove back in my Move!

As a retired police officer and consumer fraud investigator, I am always skeptical hiring someone from the Internet. Much to my surprise, Jason and his crew showed up on time as promised, and handled my furniture and valuable items with white glove care. Jason and his crew showed up on time and after a brief five minute assessment, the furniture started moving out of the “old” house. They were professional, courteous, polite, and hard working. When all the furniture was moved into the “new house” I noticed that not one wall was dinged (in either house) and not one piece of furniture was scratched or broken. We have some heavy bulky furniture that was upstairs and they negotiated all of it with ease. They brought all the tools needed to accomplish the job as quickly as possible. I hope to never move again, but if I do, I will hire Jason Ellis and I highly recommend his service if you are planning to move.

Jason arrived early, with the proper equipment (padded dollies, tools etc.) and completed the unloading into a 3 story townhouse in a single afternoon. They put everything in the right rooms, put the big furniture back together for us, they didn't break anything or damage the walls of our new place; unlike what happened when I loaded up - the difference between amateurs and professionals was amazing.
The whole unload was done in an afternoon and for less time and money than estimated. That like never happens! Best money I ever spent and saved my arms, knees and back.
We used Jason again 3 months later when we moved the rest of our stuff down and had the same great experience; on time, on budget and no damage. So if you want it done right and done fast, give Jason and his team a call.

Last week I had the great pleasure of working with a mover whose ad I found on WaccoBB. His name is Jason Ellis. Over two days, Jason expertly packed my 3/2 home and managed to stack it all into my storage locker with care. I actually enjoyed working with him.....and I can't say that I've ever wanted to express those feelings about a mover at any other time in my life. Jason is skilled, grounded, professional, hard-working, kind, intelligent, reasonable and fair. If you're considering hiring a mover, I highly recommend Jason. He knows his stuff.

I recently completed a move that I thought would take 2 full days but I was more than pleasantly surprised when Jason and his crew showed up (on time) and worked practically non-stop to get everything done in one day. I was even more impressed with the professionalism and the sense of humor that he and his crew displayed during the entire day - despite the heat and long hours. Plus, nothing was damaged or broken during the move and all of my antiques were handled with extreme care. They even moved two large granite table tops with ease. I met Jason Ellis thru Craig's List. He had a website which made me feel he was authentic. I asked him to drive up to my home in Guerneville because the road is so steep and narrow, which he did. We walked through the house and he submitted a bid which I accepted. On the moving day he arrived early and proceeded to move all of my prized possessions into the van with precision. I have never had the luxury of being moved so was not sure of what to expect. Well, it was effortless on my part and we got from my old house in Guerneville to my new home in Forestville. The cost ended up being less than his bid. I lived ten years in that house so moving for me was quite emotional. Settling into my new home has been a pleasure thanks to Jason.

We hired Jason to move some appliances and other items in preparation for a kitchen remodel. We were impressed with his fast email response to our request for a quote and with his flexibility when we had to change our initial move date. He and his helper were quick and efficient while taking great care with our possessions. There wasn’t a nick or ding on anything and they moved items with precision and ease. My moving experiences in the past have been disappointing, but with Jason he exceeded my expectations with the quality and level of professionalism he displays. Our move with Jason was picture perfect and considering it wasn't an easy move being on the third level of an apartment complex he was able to efficiently get us out of there and into our new place in record time! I just moved 3 weeks ago and used Jason Ellis. The service was wonderful from the beginning to end. They did an excellent job, and both houses were a challenge with many stairs, large items, ect. They moved SEVERAL large items, fridge, dryer, king beds ect. I was amazed at the speed and efficiency.
If we had tried to do this with less professional movers I think it would have been a disaster, and probably would have taken 2 days with lots of headache. It can be hard to find an all around GREAT service experience these days.

My wife and I recently moved from Novato to Sonoma County. It was necessary for us to split up our belongings part going to storage the rest to the property. Jason Ellis was recommended to us by a close friend. We usually do not take the time to write about an experience, however in this case we are making an exception.
We called Jason and set up the day and time, and found him to be most courteous and professional. The day of the move he and his associate showed up at the time agreed and after being shown what we had, proceeded to get right to work. They worked efficiently and carefully. They loaded the truck with things for the house in back and storage items in front to make the unloading easier.
After a short break our things arrived at storage where they were quickly put in, and then on to the house, where the rest was unloaded. This was a very positive experience for us, and we found the costs to be very reasonable. We would not hesitate to recommend Jason Ellis to anyone who is thinking of or in the process of moving.
