PACKING TIPS
- Small Box = Heavy Items
- Large Box = Light Items
- Pack heavier items on the bottom of each box.
- Tape seal items that may spill if tipped sideways.
- Close and seal all box tops and bottoms with tape.
- Seal boxes along their seam. Do not cross-fold.
- Do not tape finished surfaces. Use stretch-wrap.
- Avoid protruding items sticking out of box tops.
- Pack boxes full to avoid top crushing.
- Use packing paper generously for breakables.
- Label boxes on their sides with the destination rooms name. List their contents on top. (optional)
- Lable boxes with their room names, avoiding codes.
- Stack boxes against walls and out of walkways.
- Stack boxes in a centralized area when possible and stack like sized boxes together.

MOVING DAY TIPS
- Have loose items packed and all boxes sealed.
- Dresser drawers can remain full of clothing. Small loose items and breakables should be packed.
- Disconnect appliances, TVs and other electronics.
- Disassemble beds, dresser mirrors and desks.
- Leave a path of access clear to each area.
- Have loose items cleared off of furniture tops.
- Have a clear idea of item placement.
- Make arrangements to confine pets and children.
- Park all vehicles away from truck access area.
- Contact neighbors if truck may affect their access.
- Schedule other work crews accordingly.
- Have your agreed upon payment option prepared and in full upon completion of the move.
